REFUSE TO SIT DOWN

Romans 5:2

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

This means our standing as Christians hinges on grace. Contrary to popular opinion, we don't only need grace to convert as unbelievers but our sustainability in the christian faith depends absolutely and irrevocably on the grace of God.

Grace makes us stand and spurs us into action when we think of where we would have been without Jesus .Without grace we will sit down comfortably and have little impact on our generation.
By grace,David went to see his brothers and heard the threats of Goliath. He refused to sit down and let the people of God suffer so he put his life on the line.Goliath was very experienced and made mockery of David but by the grace, God brought victory not only for David but to the whole of Israel.
There is a Goliath that is issuing threats to your family and the people of God.This generation of ours is being threatened by the Goliath of sexual immorality and debauchery and it will take you to be the David of our time by refusing to sit down.

We need to stand up and offer our generation not moral lessons but the grace of God.Moral lessons are taught in all religions and even in classrooms but they never change anyone.
Like David, whose own brothers opposed him fighting Goliath, many of our brethren will not understand our messsage, but the gospel is the power of God unto salvation and it is only grace that can change the hearts of this evil generation

Esther refused to sit down and see her people perish.Self righteousness is a bane on  christianity today and we need to expatiate how true righteousness can be attained.
Let us stand up and preach the true gospel which alone can liberate sinners from the claws of sin and also keep them standing. Our generation needs to hear about the radical love of the messiah who died an ignominious death for us while we were yet sinners. If righteousness could be attained by observing the law then Christ Jesus died in vain. (Galatians 2:20-21)
