REFUSE TO SIT DOWN

Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. This means our standing as Christians hinges on grace. Contrary to popular opinion, we don't only need grace to convert as unbelievers but our sustainability in the christian faith depends absolutely and irrevocably on the grace of God.  Grace makes us stand and spurs us into action when we think of where we would have been without Jesus .Without grace we will sit down comfortably and have little impact on our generation.  By grace,David went to see his brothers and heard the threats of Goliath. He refused to sit down and let the people of God suffer so he put his life on the line.Goliath was very experienced and made mockery of David but by the grace, God brought victory not only for David but to the whole of Israel. There is a Goliath that is issuing threats to your family and the people of God.This generation of ours is being threatened by

GRACE LEADS TO RIGHTEOUSNESS

The grace of God leads to righteousness The book of Romans talks primarily about the grace of God.Here the indefatigable Apostle Paul uses chapter 1-11 of the book to elucidate on what the grace of God has done for us and explains to us our new Identity in Christ. Furthermore, he explains that our actions should be motivated by the mercies and grace of God.  Romans 6:6 , "Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Christ and that we should not serve sin."Grace gives us the power to reject sin and love righteousness. Let it be known that if righteousness could be attained by observing the law, then Christ Jesus died in vain. (Galatians  2:20-21 )   Grace does not make a Christian passive and relaxed. As a matter of fact, without grace ,we can do nothing.Apostle Paul  told the Corinthian Church,'By the grace of God, I am what I am.' It means grace is what motivated his actions and formed the basis of all the sufferings he endures.Human will power will cru

KEEP ON KEEPING ON

Keep on keeping on In Exodus  14:15  ,God asked Moses a crucial question; Why are you crying? Every question that comes from God is always insightful and critical because He is the only one who has all the answers. It is befuddling that Moses of all people will cry after seeing so much miracles from God. What do you do when there is nothing you can do? Where do you go when there is no place to go? On whom do you depend when there is no one on earth on whom you can depend? God's plan requires moving out on faith. It is not that God is trying to hold us in suspense but if God revealed his plans beforehand, they would be hard for us to accept. Moses was very instrumental in the deliverance of the Isrealites from the tyrannical rule of the unrepentant Pharoah.God wrought miracles that broke him down to the point that he was virtually begging Moses and his people to leave Egypt. Moses came to the red sea and began to cry because he had lost sight of the God who defeated Pharoa

Jesus our righteousness

Jesus our righteousness -Jeremiah 23:5-6 One of the most powerful names of God is Jehovah Tsidkenu which means the Lord our righteousness. This is a name that is replete  with a lot of power because it represents our identity and where there is identity crises, a man is completely lost and  without a bearing. The righteousnes we have before God has everything  to do with   whose we are and our the fruits of accepting that we have become the righteousness of God is the godly lives through the power of the Holy Spirit. Our actions are firmly predicated on who we see ourselves to be.Jesus has taken our sins upon himself and given us his priceless righteousness which he wove when he came on earth and obeyed the Moral and ceremonial law. perfectly -2 corinthians  5:21 . But for this exquisite exchange between Jesus and us, nothing could have stopped us from hell fire.A deep appreciation of this sacrifice invariably leads to lifestyle of gratitude which means a deep hatred of sin and love
