Jesus is the messiah

Peter gave a clear testimony that Jesus was the messiah because God confirmed to him when a voice came from heaven. If I am convincing a skeptic about Jesus being the Christi will first point out circumstances surrounding the birth and the death of Jesus. I will not only point out only to the Bible as my authority but history also confirms that there was a man called Jesus who did remarkable miracles. The Prophets wrote about him and pointed to Bethlehem as his place of birth which came to pass. Everyone will agree that no one has control over where he will be born. Jesus was born exactly according to the writings of the prophets that he will be born of a virgin. It was predicted that he will be sold for 30 pieces of silver and that was exactly how much Judas bargained for. When he was being buried it was a virgin tomb owned by a rich man and once again, this was according to the prediction by the great prophets. Judas who betrayed him eventually hanged himself which is also prophecy being fulfilled. The greatest proof was his resurrection which was attested by many of his followers. The disciples died very violent deaths to prove that the resurrection Of Jesus was no fluke.

My personal acceptance of Jesus as my Lord and savior as a testimony that He alone has the power to change lives. In order for a person to change it must happen from the heart. A man must desire to do good instead of evil and by nature that is not the case with any natural human being. I struggled many years to live right but when Jesus came into my heart, I saw a new desire surging in my heart to do right. The regeneration and a new heart is something that only the messiah can do.
