Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. This means our standing as Christians hinges on grace. Contrary to popular opinion, we don't only need grace to convert as unbelievers but our sustainability in the christian faith depends absolutely and irrevocably on the grace of God.  Grace makes us stand and spurs us into action when we think of where we would have been without Jesus .Without grace we will sit down comfortably and have little impact on our generation.  By grace,David went to see his brothers and heard the threats of Goliath.He refused to sit down and let the people of God suffer so he put his life on the line.Goliath was very experienced and made mockery of David but by the grace, God brought victory not only for David but to the whole of Israel. The grace of God leads to righteousness The book of Romans talks primarily about the grace of God.Here the indefatigable Apostle Paul uses chapter 1-11 of the book to elucidate on what the grace of God has done for us and explains to us our new Identity in Christ. Every question that comes from God is always insightful and critical because He is the only one who has all the answers.
